One brand. Many locations.
Franchise and dealer networks need a parent company, a location record, and a person at each site who can see their own pipeline.
The record model
- Parent company for the brand owner
- Child company, or a Location custom object, for each site
- Contacts associated to one location
- Deals and tickets associated to the location, not only the brand
If every site is only a contact property called “store”, reporting breaks the first time one person covers two locations.
Build steps
- 1
Model the location
Use child companies when locations are real legal entities. Use a custom object when they are sites under one contract.
- 2
Assign local owners
A HubSpot user or an owner property per location. Do not share one login across the network.
- 3
Local pipeline
One shared pipeline with a location filter, not one pipeline per site. Per-site pipelines become unmanageable past a handful of stores.
- 4
A page they can open
Membership content listing their open deals and tickets. Brand standards stay on the parent record.
